Maintaining Vendor Discounts and Margins

A question we are asked often is how to verify that vendor discounts and margins are setup for new products. We make it EASY for you verify this data. Links to knowledge base articles are included in every product announcement. Here are some other places that will give you this information. 

• Vendor discounts – while logged in as an Account Admin click Admin from the top navigational bar and then select Discounts from the lower navigational bar., On the discounts page, products which are missing vendor discounts will be listed.  
• Product margins – While logged in as an Account Admin, click Admin from the top navigational bar, then select Products from the lower navigational bar. Click on any vendor name to see the complete list of products. You can add margins on this page, either individually or in bulk. 
• Clues in order entry – when creating a line item, you’ll see a message in the right hand column below the Item Price section that will alert you if the selected product is missing either vendor discounts or margins.
